Pretty Ugly Magazine

Editorial Magazine Design

This is a magazine project I did together with my classmates in the program. We received the brief to publish a magazine of our own and come up with anything that we want, so here is the manifesto:

“In a world built on consumerism, where beauty sells, our magazine will cut through the noise. It's a compilation of everything ugly, but the beauty lies in the story, the community, and the artists. We aim to highlight various objects that are usually seen as unappealing, but the story of their creation is one filled with charm and emotion. A magazine for millennial creatives, Pretty Ugly appreciates the artistry of Kitsch and Camp, underlining that ‘weird’ or ‘unattractive’ to some does not mean that it’s not beautiful in its own way.”
